This is a woodturning project kit; Pen hardware and bushing set only; A LATHE IS NEEDED TO 'TURN' INTO FINISHED PENS; Blanks, drill bit, and all other turning tools and supplies are not included. Includes (3) Phoenix Rising Twist Ballpoint Pen Woodturning Project Kits. You will receive (1) of each in Antique Brass (PKRISEAB), Antique Copper (PKRISEAC), and Antique Pewter (PKRISEAP). Also includes the bushing set (PKVICBU) needed to make the pens. Features a 3/8" single tube design, a twist mechanism, and a Parker style refill in black. Minimum blank size needed to turn is 3/4" x 3/4" x 3-1/2". The phoenix is a sacred firebird. Its story has roots in many ancient civilizations. After 1,000 years, the phoenix builds a nest of twigs, which then burns fiercely until they are both reduced to ashes. From the ashes, a young phoenix appears, renewing the life cycle of the bird and making the phoenix virtually immortal and invincible. This pen captures the story in detail, from flames bursting at the tip, to the rising phoenix; it's tail rendered in the clip. Amber crystals on the clip and cap add to the majesty of this regal creature.
