His fourth best-selling book for The History Press, Eerie Appalachia, was released in late 2022. This follows up his other best-selling books Eerie Florida, Freaky Florida and Creepy Florida. Occasionally, he is visited by his children when they get the courage to brave his haunted object collection.
Erika Lance is the co-host of the podcast and co-author of the Eerie Travels book series.
Erika Lance is a writer of horror, suspense, Sci-fi and a little fantasy. She has been many things in this life, but she is most proud of being a nerd before it was cool. Growing up in the 80′ s and 90’s she will tell you, finding another female D&D player was rare.
Erika fell in love with the horror while watching Elvira and Dr. Paul Bearer on Saturday afternoon TV and was hooked. She believes that life is an adventure and it is built on the things you do, the people you surround yourself with and most of all the things you create.
She loves to create worlds and stories, and finds that not all stories have happy endings.
She is also CEO of 4 Horsemen Publications and the host of the Drinking With Authors podcast.

Beau Lake is the producer of the podcast and editor of the Eerie Travels book series.
Beau Lake is a blue-haired, tattooed cryptid lurking in the mountains of Virginia. She is very happily married and lives with a menagerie of children (3) and dogs (3). Her favorite hobbies include digital art and screaming into the void. Mostly the latter. Her other favorite activities include staring a blank Word documents, listening to true crime podcasts, and asking herself, “What would Stephen King do?”
Her written works include the DC Pride series (co-written with Tatum West), the paranormal/horror romance series The Wolves of Wharton, and the upcoming horror series Allgood.
She can be found online via Facebook, Threads, TikTok, or at beaulakebooks.com. She loves talking with readers and can be reached at authorbeaulake@gmail.com.
Kari Schultz (aka Mark’s wife) is the illustrator for the Eerie Travels books and History Press Eerie books with Mark, backup producer for the podcast, and generally lurking behind the scenes.
Kari Schultz is a reclusive varied illustrator at Fox Dream Studio who enjoys fantasy and horror. She has been working on art as long as she can remember and reading folklore and horror almost as long (she was that kid reading Stephen King in middle school). She has illustrated several books of legends and monsters for The History Press including Eerie Florida, Eerie Alabama, Eerie New Mexico, Creepy Florida and Freaky Florida. She also illustrates for the Eerie Travels series. She has a thing for foxes. When not drawing or crocheting she is the caretaker of her baby dragon (monitor lizard) named Clawdius, several python snakes, and dozens of spiders. She can be lured forth from her home with sushi or cheesy pasta.
She can be found online mostly on Facebook.
